Been Far Too Long

It's absolutely amazing how quickly time slips by; it's been far too long since I posted and just as long since I played a game. So now that my dissertation  is all but done it's time to dust off the toy soldiers for a game or two.

In preparation I've put together the following 1750pt List.

Comments and criticism would be gratefully received and thankfully applied.

Cheers folks.

A few initial observations.

1) 15 Marines in 2 units isn't a great deal of troops at 1750.

2) I prefer Dreadnoughts either in their default configuration (Multi-Melta) or with Twin-Linked Autocannons on each arm as both these configurations are more useful and more points efficient than the alternatives.

3) I'd go all Thunderhammers rather than a mix in the Terminator unit for the reasons check this post,

http://gmortschaotica.blogspot.com/2010/12/thunderhammer-vs-lightning-claw.html

4) Single Land-Raider 'Rock' lists tend to be vulnerable if your opponent has a 'suicide' unit designed to counter such things (many competitive players do).

Your personal gaming experiences might be different to mine but I'd seriously consider doing something about the points I've mentioned.

Good Luck with the list regardless ;-)
